Step 2: Manual Shipment List and Submission

  • Shipment List: It is essential to manually create a shipment list. Failure to provide accurate details may result in shipping delays or non-delivery.
  • Restricted Items: Please note that certain items cannot be shipped, including honey, dairy products, pharmaceuticals, hazardous materials, acacia-containing products, bee venom creams, chemicals, and perishable food items. (Perfumes and batteries are allowed only via sea freight.)

Step 3: Freight Calculation and Payment

  • For shipments weighing 1 to 5 kg: $12 per kg
  • Shipments exceeding 5 kg will be split for separate processing.
  • Special rates available for shipments over 20 kg—please inquire separately.
  • Note: Additional inspection fees of $7 apply for honey containing special ingredients such as royal jelly.

Step 4: Invoice Issuance and Tracking

  • Once processed, you’ll receive an invoice with a tracking number.
  • Important: At THE HONEY, we thoroughly inspect all honey before shipping to ensure compliance with export standards. Accurate information on the delivery application form is crucial for product verification and Korean customs declaration.
