Collection: Fresh Royal Jelly

The process for fresh royal jelly production

  1. Transferring Eggs to Queen Cells:
  • Take a comb with queen bee eggs.
  • Carefully transfer each egg from the comb to a queen cell.
  • This process is challenging because the eggs are very small (around 1-3mm).

2. Placing the Queen Cells Back in the Hive:

  • Insert the queen cells into queen cups within the hive.
  • This allows the bees to fill the queen cells with royal jelly.

3.Removing the Queen Cells After 3 Days:

  • After 3 days, remove the queen cells from the hive.
  • The queen cells will be full of royal jelly.
  • Gently brush off the bees to reveal the fully filled royal jelly in the queen cells.

4.Trimming Off the Caps and Removing Larvae:

  • Trim off the caps of the queen cells.
  • Underneath, you’ll find 3-day-old larvae.
  • Use tweezers to carefully remove each larva.

5.Collecting Clean Royal Jelly Through a Fine Cloth:

  • Scoop out the royal jelly from the queen cells onto a spoon.
  • Strain it through a fine cloth into jars.
  • Always sterilize all containers and tools using UV light during this process.

6.Preserving and Shipping Fresh Royal Jelly:

  • Rapidly freeze the freshly produced royal jelly.
  • When orders come in, package it in chilled bags along with ice packs for shipping.
